Resident Evil Village brings back the classic tradition of hidden collectibles that test a player's observation skills. Scattered throughout the terrifying landscape of the village and its surrounding areas are 20 wooden totems known as Goats of Warding. Locating and breaking every single one of these items rewards players with special achievements and unique in-game points.

Tracking Goats in the Main Village Area

The central hub of the game contains the highest concentration of these wooden bobbleheads. You will find the very first one resting inside an elaborate shrine right next to the Maiden of War statue. Another early collectible is perched directly on the rooftop of the village church, requiring a quick look upward to spot it. As you advance toward Luiza's house, search the far northeast corner of the Fallow Plot to find one sitting atop a stone wall.

Later visits to the village open up previously locked areas containing even more totems. Using the Jack Handle allows access to West Old Town, where a goat sits hidden between two buildings on top of a small wood shed. After obtaining the Iron Insignia Key, you can open the gate near the church graveyard to discover another totem tucked into the right side of the yard. A final village collectible sits hidden beneath the wooden stairs along the Lone Road region just after your escape from the castle.

Scouring Castle Dimitrescu and House Beneviento

The towering residence of Lady Dimitrescu contains three cleverly hidden figurines that are easy to bypass. Look closely at the rocky cliffside within the vineyard area just before entering the castle to find one blending into the stones. Once inside the lower levels, check the distillery room floor immediately after climbing down the long ladder. The final castle collectible is located in the dusty attic area, sitting directly on a wooden crate right behind the ladder hole.

The journey toward the misty House Beneviento offers a few more opportunities to clean up your collectible tracker. As you cross the long suspension bridge leading to the estate, look out over the left railing to spot a goat resting on an adjacent bridge. When you finally arrive at the main house, do not head inside right away. Instead, follow the left exterior path down to a small terrace where a totem sits just past the iron fence.

Navigating the Reservoir and Heisenberg's Factory

The flooded domain of Salvatore Moreau requires precise timing to grab all the available collectibles. Walk along the platform of the first major windmill before using the elevator to find a totem sitting out by some logs. During the tense switch puzzle over the water, look carefully at a distant wooden pole sticking out of the waves to destroy another one. After draining the area, return to the flooded ruins near the initial boat launch to find a newly accessible totem by a broken house.

Heisenberg's industrial zone features some of the trickiest hiding spots in the entire game. Following the intense ventilation duct sequence where you escape the giant fan, turn around to spot a totem resting on the broken machinery. Another figure is hidden in the control room just past the Sturm boss arena, accessible only by crawling through a tiny air duct in the wall. You must also keep a sharp eye out while riding the main factory cargo elevator, as one goat rests on the metal structural beams between floors.
